IPTV J ("the app") is designed to work without user accounts and to collect as little data as possible.

What we do NOT collect

• No accounts, no sign-up, no email, no name, no phone number.
• No tracking across apps or websites, and no advertising identifiers.
• We never see or store your viewing activity, watch history, or favorites — these stay on your device and in your personal iCloud.

Data stored on your device and in your iCloud

Playlists (including Xtream credentials, stored securely in the device Keychain), favorites, watch history, playback positions, subtitle preferences, and app settings are stored locally. If you enable iCloud Sync, this data is synced through your private iCloud account (Apple's iCloud Key-Value store), which we cannot access. Disabling iCloud Sync or deleting the app removes this data per Apple's standard behavior.

Data processed by our services

• Content matching: to show posters and metadata, channel/movie/series titles from your playlist (title text only — never your playlist URL or credentials) are sent to our server and matched against The Movie Database (TMDB). Successful matches may be stored in a shared, anonymous cache so matching is faster for everyone. This data contains no personal information.
• Sports schedules: match schedules and broadcaster lists are fetched from public sports data services. No personal data is sent.
• AI subtitle translation (Premium): when you request a translation, the subtitle text of the content is sent to an AI translation service and the result is cached anonymously for reuse. No personal information is included.

Purchases

Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous randomly generated identifier and purchase receipt data to validate your Premium status — never your name, email, or Apple Account details. Your content

IPTV J does not host, provide, or index any video content. Streams are loaded directly from the playlist sources you add. Your playlist URLs and credentials are never transmitted to us.

Children

The app is not directed at children and provides no content of its own.

We may update this policy as the app evolves; the latest version will always be available at this page.
